Hi, I hope you’re well and looking forward to the incoming Autumn season.
It's been quite a summer hasn't it?!
The above newly finished painting is entitled:
A Summer To Remember, Remember This Summer.
230cm w x 110cm h
Oil and ink on canvas
Available, please enquire.
You may recall from my blog that an experience of Synesthesia helped me to complete this painting - a piece that I had been jostling with. I started in the first week of June with only a plan for the background. I had no idea how it would turn out or the inspiration and influence this summer would bring.
Florals were coming through which I tried to avoid. As you will see from the detail shot below, the mark making was intuitive and free, at the end, the Synesthesia brought about the vivid orange glow around each set of marks. This work feels like the duality of this summer - the warmth feels equally like the heatwave, abundance and the joy of a hot summers day but it also feels like the wildfires, war, rage and anger. It feels like a reflection of our recent and current time through my perspective.
Personally, I have been enraged by allot this summer, rage is a strong word - it goes against my conscious practice of love, peace and gratitude but we deserve the right to rage especially in the face of injustice. However, my rage only ever fuels me. A fire burns in me to make changes, truth be told, I have already started. If like me, you are feeling enraged, I hope the injustices of this summer stay with us, stoking the fire for positive change.
You can view a video of this work here.

Art In The Caribbean.
I've been patiently waiting to tell you a little more about the exciting project I started mid last year.
But first, let me talk about the power of manifestation and how I've started to make some of the positive changes I mention above, not just for me but for others too. You may already know that with the practice of consciousness, gratitude is a non-negotiable. I am a strong believer in gratitude working hand in hand with the law of attraction. This new way of being came about during my deep-dive into consciousness following my spine and head injury in 2013. Gratitude is a state I try my hardest to stay in as I'm all too aware that my life could have turned out differently.
Fast forward to these last 12 months - I decided that it was ok to ask for the things I truly wanted. As a Christian, prayer had always been about thanking God, it was never about asking or wanting. This year, I gave myself permission to ask, that I may be able to expand my practice and help others in the process.
Art is my first love, but through my design degree and various client facing, operations and managerial roles in the creative industry, I've built up quite a skill-set, one that when combined with my love for art, can not only extend my art practice, but that of other artists too. I prayed for, wrote down and sought to combine my love for making art with my love for helping others - artists and clients alike.
Now for the great news - I am very grateful to have undertaken my first project with Sotheby's Real Estate in the Turks & Caicos Islands. I have curated 25 pieces of contemporary art by both UK and local TCI artists for a large private villa. The works have just arrived to the island and will be installed over the coming week. I look forward to sharing the images with you in my next blog In the meantime, the image above is the main lounge area which will display 6 of the 25 works.
If you have a similar project in the pipeline, would like to commission an artwork either by myself or by an artist I recommend, please reply to this email so that I can send you our portfolio.
From the first thought, It took years to land such a phenomenal client. At first, I thought I wanted to start my own gallery but I knew deep down that It would take me away from creating, so I held back. Instead, I had to find a new way of combining my skills and passions. The process required my intention, attention, action, hard work, patience and faith. I'm very thankful and grateful to my amazing client - this project has been a blessing to me and all of the artists involved and I can't wait to start working on the next one - extending new opportunities to other artists.

Art In China.
Three of my works from the Alignment Serieswhich were shown at my solo show earlier this year have been selected by Pashmin Art Gallery, Germany for an exhibition in China. Light Within (pictured above), Helpless To Do Otherwise and Hold On To Happy Thoughtsare now on route to Fuling Cultural Art Center in Chongqing for A New Dialogue In Contemporary Art - a group show featuring curated international artists. I'm very grateful that this will be the third time my work has shown in Asia. In 2025 at World Art Expo in Seoul with Azart Gallery - where my limited edition AI assisted abstract art pieces were greatly received and sold out at the fair. In 2024 at Tokyo International Art Fair with Alinda Kring Advisory where the collector was actually London based and the work sold here in London upon return. I'm very excited to hear how these works will be received in China. Thank you to Pashmin Art Gallery for choosing my work and for this amazing opportunity.

Available...
I'm returning to featuring one available work at the end of each blog. Also from my Alignment Series, this is Note To Self, There Is A World Outside. Ink and oil paint on hand made cotton. This can be float mounted in an Ultramarine open tray frame as visualised above or float mounted in a non-reflective glazed Ultramarine frame. The cost of custom framing is already included in the price. As this is a piece that was suspended from the ceiling in my first solo show, it has the distinction of metal rivets in the top corners (just like the others in this series). Click the image to own the work or respond to this email to receive videos and or book a studio visit to view it in person. Once purchased, please allow 3-4 weeks for custom framing.
You can of course, view the full collection here.
