A Successful Artist Open House & My Biggest Project To Date...

Hi!

If you were able to visit myself and Luana's Artist Open House over the last two weekends, Thank you so much! We loved chatting to all of our visitors about our practices and are very grateful to those who attended. We both agreed that this has been our most popular and most successful open house to date and we may well team up again next year!

This was my 4th year taking part since moving to the area and not only did new visitors come to see our works, many choose to re-visit including collectors I've met at previous exhibitions or those who have discovered my work online. A special thank you to a wonderful young student I recently taught in an abstract art workshop who came along to surprise me and see more of my work. Thank you Charlie and Emilie!

In total, a combination of 21 of my expression and impression originals and prints have found new homes. Thank you to all of my new and existing collectors - I’m in the process of organising custom framing and completing the certificates of authenticity so if you’re waiting on these, thank you for your patience - I will have everything sorted by this weekend. I usually try and create the certificates within a few days however, I had just one day's rest and went straight in to a new exciting project!

...So what's this new project?

I'm awaiting clearance to announce the project but I feel honoured to be selected by Artiq Art Consultancy as one of ten London based artists to work on a special public art project celebrating London's heritage. This will be my biggest project to date. I love public art and want it to play a part in my practice, I feel very honoured to have been selected. Above is a section of the work in progress. It's something I've never done before and I can't wait to share the final work with you and where it will live this summer.
