Flux Exhibition & Women In Art Prize + Women In Art Fair!

I hope you are well? My August newsletter comes early as I take this opportunity to share some more good news with you and to also remind you that if you plan to visit, Flux Exhibition will be open from this Thursday to Sunday in Marylebone. I will be at the private view on Thursday evening and also between 1pm and 5pm from Friday to Sunday. I have two new works to show alongside a few recent favourites. I would love to see you and your guests if you can make it.

Invitation: Flux Exhibition
25th - 28th July, 206 Marylebone Road, London, NW1, 6JQ
You can book your ticket here FLUX Exhibition or just turn up over the long weekend.

I have recently been long-listed for The Women In Art Prize, 2024 in the Emerging Artist category. Additionally, two of my paintings have also been selected for The Women In Art Fair, 2024 which will take place at The Mall Galleries during Frieze London in October. This is an incredible opportunity to exhibit alongside other talented women artists during London’s most prestigious art week!

Women in Art Prize and Women In Art Fair are groundbreaking initiatives dedicated to addressing gender imbalance in the art industry. Their mission is to create a positive global platform for female artists, curators, and gallerists to showcase their work and contribute to the evolving conversation around gender, sexuality, and culture.

The London Heritage Quarter, Journey Through Time Art Trail.

There are just two weeks left to visit my Teapot in Grosvenor Gardens as part of the London Heritage Art  Trail. The final day will be on Sunday 4th August. There have been lots of great pictures taken of the teapot, it’s been especially great to see people and pets enjoy posing with it. It’s doing exactly what I hoped it would do, making passers by stop, be present for a few moments and hopefully smile.

The end of each newsletter features a piece of work looking for a new home. This large scale ocean wave is the last in the series of ocean paintings from 2022-2023 and is available to own online. Please click the image to learn more about this original painting.

If you would like to own my art but can't quite find the right size or colours, you can commission me here.

Thank you for taking the time out to read my news, until next time and with gratitude,
Courtenay.
