New Painting: Everything Will Come Together In Perfect Harmony.

Hi!

I hope you’re enjoying your summer? A lot has happened since my last newsletter, and as I’m a little behind with my August news, I’ll try to keep this one short and sweet.

Above is my new painting; Everything Will Come Together in Perfect Harmony.

Like many of us, I’ve felt utterly helpless witnessing the continued killing of innocent children and people around the world. Beyond petitions, donations, and supporting good causes, the only thing I feel I can offer are my prayers.

For me, art is a form of meditation - a form of prayer. When I began this piece, I had no idea what it would become. At first it carried a sense of joy, a sense of paradise, yet I kept asking myself: how can I feel joy when so many are enduring such suffering?

I am now more than ever, truly grateful for my and my family and friends comfort and safety in this world.

As I raise my children, just as my parents raised me through difficult times, I realised I had no choice but to transform the despair into hope - that one day, everything will come together in perfect harmony. Everything is energy.

The Audacity Group Show – Thank You!

“Any trip to this exhibition will no doubt result in a new favourite artist revelation.”
— Martin Robinson, The London Standard.

We made it into the press! The show was so warmly received by visitors who came intentionally and by those who stumbled upon it. We opened with an unforgettable night, including our powerful STEFDIES die-in (you can watch it here).

Throughout the weeks of the exhibition, we hosted workshops, artist talks, group visits, and a special collector’s evening. I’m deeply grateful to STEFDIES for selecting my work to be part of such an important and timely exhibition. Here’s to women and women-identifying artists continuing to work together to close the gaps of inequality in the art world.

If you’re new to my newsletter following The Audacity Group Show - welcome! And if you’ve discovered my work online, thank you for being here. I’m truly grateful for your support. 🙏🏾

I’m also delighted to share that as a result of the show, my painting The Paradisal Garden (below) has found a new home. A huge thank you to my new collector for choosing my work amongst such an extraordinary line-up of artists. 🙏🏾
