Emerging from the lockdowns of the COVID pandemic, I gained a profound appreciation for blossom trees. Being confined indoors made the outside world feel distant back then and practically inaccessible. But as the restrictions eased, the sight of blossom trees in full bloom felt like a balm for the soul. Their vibrant colors and delicate petals symbolised renewal and hope, a stark contrast to the uncertainty we had all endured. Walking under the trees, I found a sense of peace and gratitude, realising how much I had taken such simple beauty for granted before. Blossoms became more than just seasonal decorations; they became symbols of resilience and the joy of reconnecting with the world.
This is an edition of 25 circular blossom paintings. Each edition is hand made, signed and numbered and each original will look slightly different from the other - see another layout on offer.
They are all originals, made in my signature impressionistic style with pastel colour blends and splashes.
Each painting is varnished and mounted onto circular flat wood with a hanging wire attached to the back, ready to hang.
