Unconscious, Conscious, Aligned maps both my personal and creative growth. Shaped by a life changing event, an awakening in 2014 prompted a deeper questioning of my life, identity and direction. What followed was a period of conscious inquiry, where everything I thought I knew felt suspended. Over time, trauma transformed into growth and a new awareness emerged as both mirror and method.

This body of work carries the thoughts, experiences and self-directed learning that has guided me towards self-alignment.

Courtenay Kusitor is a London-based abstract artist creating intuitive, expressionist paintings rooted in consciousness. The work is led by senses rather than process, using bold colour, movement, and layered mark-making to capture moments of awareness and stillness.

Her paintings are created using an unconventional blend of tools allowing pigments to move freely across the surface. Each piece is shaped through trust and intuition.
