Last June, I had the incredible opportunity to take part in Landscape Artist of the Year as one of 50 wildcard artists. If you’re not familiar with the show, it features six main pod artists who are typically paint landscapes, while some of the wildcards are also landscape artists and others bring a mix of different artistic styles and approaches. One of the highlights of the day was being interviewed by Stephen Mangan - one of my favourite UK actors and comedians! Why AI?Especially when so many artists refuse to acknowledge or engage with it?
With a degree in graphic and digital design, I’ve always been an early adopter of new technology, my first lesson at college was Photoshop, for me and many others, ai has been part of our education and adopting new technology allows me to explore and develop new creative processes especially when I’m out of the studio.
