London Art Week Studio Visit, Latest Commission & Black History Month Exhibition.

Artist studio visit invitation

Hi, This is a quick reminder that you are invited for a studio visit from Saturday October 7th to Monday October 16th, from 9am. During your visit, I'll talk about my practice and hold a live painting session. I'll be launching all of my new paintings of which some will be for sale or on pre-order as prints. I would really love to have you over if you can make the time. My work is always best seen in person.

You can book a slot for yourself and any guests you would like to bring here: https://bookedin.com/book/courtenay-kusitor-art

a painting of peonies

Thank you Kim & Ryan! Earlier this month, I completed a commission of Peonies for an existing collector. I'm so very grateful for this opportunity which pushed my unique and self-developed skill of ink casting to create my most detailed floral work to date. Incase you didn't already know, I cast individual marks and lines of ink to create my abstract impression paintings. This work is a personal one-off special for my client - as all commissions are so please do get in touch if you would like to commission your own statement art for your home - in either of my abstract styles.

Black History Month Art Exhibition

Finally, I'm very grateful to be chosen as one of seven Black British, London based artist for Lambeth's Black History Month exhibition - Emerge & Establish, held at The Brixton Tate Library. The title of this exhibition is a call for all artists of colour to emerge and establish ourselves in what can often be a difficult industry for people of colour. You are very welcome to come and view two of my paintings [never exhibited before] and also for sale at the opening night on the 10th October from 6pm or visit during the library opening times over the month of October. Please learn more in the invite below.

If you have any questions about my upcoming events or any enquiries about my work, please hit contact above to ask away.

With love, light and gratitude,
Courtenay
