Hi, How are you? I hope you’ve had a great summer? I love September (wind, rain and all), I’m a September baby and I treat it as my second New Year - a chance to focus on the targets I’ve set for myself before the year is out. To add to my birthday celebrations, I am now represented by Azart Gallery, New York. Working with a US gallery has been on my list of goals for a couple of years and I feel it has come at the exact right time. I will be having my first showing with Azart at The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea next Month.
I’m really grateful to be part of the Azart family. Working with a gallery who support contemporary abstract artists has been a dream of mine and I’m very thankful that it’s now a reality.
I have completed 3 new paintings just in time for the fair. They have been a labour of love and in the name of living in the present, these are inspired by my recent teapot sculpture. I really enjoyed painting on the curves of the sculpture and have used a similar colour palette with curved abstract forms. I felt so much joy painting the teapot and wanted to extend those feelings further with these three new works.

I’m also very grateful that two of my early paintings have been selected for Women In Art Fair at the Mall Galleries. This will be launched during Frieze London 2024 when the world’s most renown artists, galleries, collectors and art lovers flock to the capital. This is a great time in the art calendar for a women only exhibition. We hope as many people as possible come along to support this pool of very talented women artists who deserve the recognition.
