Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to read my art blog, I write to you with good news! After just 5 years of showing my work publicly, I'm very grateful to be signed to my first gallery; Will's Art Warehouse.
Becoming an artist at WAW is synchronicity in action for me, over the past year, I've been looking back at my journey as an artist and have been planning my first solo show. Naturally, I started with my childhood - Putney is the nearest town to the village I grew up in and in my early twenties, I would ride past this new, mysterious gallery in Putney Common and think how great it must be to be an artist and have your work in a gallery. At that point in my life, I didn't believe it was obtainable.
Fast forward twenty years and I'm now represented by them. They were the first gallery to visit my studio and to offer me a contract on the spot! The physical space at the gallery is no longer open to the public but they have a strong presence at major art fairs including The Affordable Art Fair which has international presence.
Working with a gallery will help give my practice more exposure, however, I will still be operating independently too.
A big thank you to Freelance Curator Jarelle Andre Francis and Senior Curator Rachel Oteng-Lartey for this excellent opportunity. My impressionist paintings are a perfect fit for the WAW collectors and you can viewy profile and selected artworks here.
Happening Now...
I'm very grateful to be working on a commission for a private collector. Commissions are a great way to own an original work which has been made especially for you. You can find out more about how to commission a work here.
Comming up...
I'm currently working towards my first solo show, Its been a long time coming and I've been creating works for it since the beginning of the year. I feel this will be a great opportunity for me to show my evolution as an artist and I can't wait to exhibit my new pieces.
Finally,
Please find below a selection of paintings I would love to find new homes for. Please feel free to share these works with your family and friends.
