Description:
In the summer of 2024, I was one of ten London-based artists commissioned to paint a sculpture for public display in Grosvenor Gardens, Victoria. The result was a bold and arresting expression of colour and form. Inspired by that experience, I went on to create a series of four paintings that translated the energy of sculpture into a two-dimensional language. Three of those works were consigned to my gallery in New York—this is the fourth.
It carries with it the essence of summer, a nod to my heritage, and a reminder that beauty still exists in the apparent chaos of our world. We only need to slow down, be present, and truly see.
