Description:
My latest series of works is inspired by colour and the juxtaposition of it with form. The titles of the works relate to the psychological meanings of some of the main colours used in the paintings. The forms bring the two elements together in a kind of unity to create what sometimes looks like surreal abstract landscapes, cityscapes or skyscapes.
This particular piece is inspired by the colours Jade, Green, Pink and Peach. In colour psychology, Jade and green symbolise renewal and growth whilst Peach and Pink symbolise hope.
